These two videos show a basic bottle bar/bottle holder design and an
upgraded design with explanations of each. The basic one is very
simple to build. I suggest starting with that and implementing
upgrades from there. :)
The main thing to remember with any bottle bar/bottle holder is to ALWAYS make sure you hang them up out of reach of kids when not in use!!! They are serious leg breaking hazards! I know several people that have had baby goats break legs on bottle holder bars because they forgot to hang them up out of reach after use. I always wipe mine down after each use, and that is easier to do higher up anyhow, so that way I never forget to hang them up out of reach. :)
First video is the basic, easy to build design. This was my first design, from many, many years ago, and its still in use today :)
This is the upgraded design that a friend actually volunteered to build for me several years back. Its definitely better! I mostly like it because
it is way easier to keep clean, but also the bottles do tend to leak less when first putting them in. With either design, they will leak when
first putting them in, but it doesn't tend to be a problem after a few days when the kids start absolutely attacking the bottles as soon as they
hit the rack. ha. They are ON it. lol
